Host a Barbecue With Hoges and Help Cure Cancer at the Same Time!

It’s hot and sunny, we’re all winding down for the holidays, so why not have a barbecue? In other words, get your other half to do the cooking while you kick back with a cool beverage.

Even better, why not tell him he can host with every bloke’s fave Aussie larrikin, Paul Hogan?

Yes, seriously! Well kind of…

Cure Cancer Australia has launched its ‘Host with Hoges Bot’ for Facebook Messenger, which helps you plan a barbecue to raise money for charity. And the advice comes straight from the Father of Aussie barbies himself.

OK, so you might not get the real deal turning up in full Mick Dundee croc skins to throw a shrimp on the barbie, but you can ask Hoges a question and get a reply. Ask him about barbecue recipes, cooking tips, or anything you like really.

In fact the Host with Hoges bot can tell you everything you need to know about hosting a BARBECURE with your family and friends.

What Is a BARBECURE?

No, it’s not a typo. Cure Cancer Australia, is encouraging everyone to turn their summer barbecue into a bit of a party and raise some money for charity at the same time (as if we needed an excuse).

Money raised goes towards supporting the super-brainy, early-career cancer researchers as they work towards finding a cure.

This year, through the introduction of the innovative ‘Host with Hoges’ Bot, you can learn about BARBECURE and how to get involved. You can make a donation or host your own event, whilst having a laugh with Hoges along the way.
