Ahhh, Kmart, it’s the land of plenty. Plenty you can’t live without, and plenty for your hard earned dollar too!
The thing about Kmart is that not only is it AWESOME value for money, most of their items are surprisingly excellent. Throwing that old adage of “you get what you pay for” out of the window.

1. The Scandi Desk
A beautiful Scandi style desk for UNDER $60? Shut up and take my money Kmart. The Scandi Tiered Desk ($59) is an absolute steal and bound to put some stylish pep into any workspace. So pretty it is, it can easily double as a dresser table or a console table for a cosy nook. No doubt about it, this purchase can be justified any way possible!
2. Foldable Beach Trolley
The hype for this Kmart wonder is not lost on us, particularly after witnessing this brilliant Kmart Foldable Beach Trolley ($49) child-toting hack. Awesome for lugging kids crap stuff from the car, hauling lounge room mess to the play room or ferrying all the gear to the beach – it’s handy for ALL THE THINGS.
3. Portable Booster Chair
We’ve seen it teamed with the aforementioned Foldable Beach Trolley, but the Kmart Portable Booster Chair ($29) is a gold nugget to keep in the car if your kid refuses to sit and eat at the park or to keep handy at Nanna’s house.
4. Coffee Machine
Coffee drinkers and wannabe baristas are going nuts over the Kmart Espresso Coffee Machine ($89). Said to deliver a quality cup, Choice even put it to the test, reporting it knocked its $949 competitor for six when it comes to flavour. GO TEAM KMART!
5. Air Fryer
A luxury item for the kitchen, an air fryer will give you crispy chips, nuggets, party pies, a roast chicken or pork belly EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Sometimes hard to find because it’s so bloomin’ good, the Kmart Air Fryer ($69) is worth tracking down. STAT.
6. Rechargeable Lint Remover
It’s hardly the MOST exciting Kmart buy, but I tell you, the Kmart Lint Remover ($10) will thrill the bejeezus out of you when you renew all the clothes in your wardrobe. All those bobbly fabric bits on active wear, knit jumpers, tights – ALL OF THEM BE GONE.
7. Wooden Cubby House

8. 1200W Upright Vacuum
Want a vacuum which REALLY sucks? As in literally? THIS is your machine. Fantastic bang for buck, the Kmart 1200W Upright Vacuum ($89) rivals its much, much more expensive competitors. From experience, it glides over tiles and carpet and sucks up copious amounts of long dog hair without skipping a beat (or a tuft of hair).
9. Nail Polish Remover Wipes
Not going to lie, the Kmart OXX Studio Nail Polish Remover Wipes ($1) actually have changed my life. We all know that nail polish on the toes can last months without budging, but these wipes wipe that colour off with NO DRAMAS and practically zero effort.. AND THEY’RE ONE DOLLAR A PACK. I rest my case.
10. DIY Letter Board
Perfect for reciting the house rules, making announcements (baby! party! new dog!) this gem, the Kmart DIY Letter Board ($12) continues to pop up all over social media. Even better, if the kids can’t help but mess with your stuff, you can purchase an extra letter pack for just $7.
11. Pie Maker
If you haven’t jumped on the Kmart Pie Maker ($29) bandwagon yet, it’s not too late. To be fair, this is one of the kitchen appliances which sell out FAST – and that’s a sure indication of just how bloody good they are. Far from cooking the humble pie, you can cook all manner of things in this pie maker. You can poach eggs, cook cakes, puddings, heck – EVEN LASAGNE in these beasts. Run, don’t walk.
We’re the first to admit that there are SO MANY MORE than a measly 11 things we all want / need from Kmart. We adore the homewares – the plates are exceptional quality and dirt cheap and then there’s the clothes, the women’s activewear and let’s not forget the stellar line up of outfits for your pets.
