It’s THE biggest family movie event this summer

We love movies that the whole family can enjoy and LYLE, LYLE, CROCODILE certainly ticks this box. It’s got some laugh-out-loud situations and heartfelt moments, making it an easy choice for your next family movie day out.

Plus, the music and soundtrack is absolutely fantastic, thanks to the songwriting team who also worked on The Greatest Showman.

A singing crocodile!

The movie centres around the Primm family’s (Constance Wu, Scoot McNairy, Winslow Fegley) move to New York City where their young son Josh struggles to adapt to his new school and new friends.

All of that changes when he discovers Lyle – a singing crocodile (Shawn Mendes) who loves baths, caviar and great music-living in the attic of his new home.

The two become fast friends, but when Lyle’s existence is threatened by evil neighbour Mr. Grumps (Brett Gelman), the Primms must band together with Lyle’s charismatic owner, Hector P. Valenti (Javier Bardem), to show the world that family can come from the most unexpected places and there’s nothing wrong with a big singing crocodile with an even bigger personality.

Laugh out loud with Lyle

We have such a soft spot for beloved book characters being brought to life on the big screen so LYLE, LYLE, CROCODILE is definitely on our must-watch list. How about yours?

It’s perfect for kids around the 4 to 12 year age group but I reckon even teens would enjoy it. And adults too.

The songs in the film are so darn catchy and Lyle is absolutely adorable, especially when he’s an itty-bitty baby crocodile. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a fan of crocs, but Lyle is the kindest, funniest, sweetest crocodile out there. And, boy, can he sing!

The film also boasts beautiful themes of courage, friendship, family, and finding your voice – great lessons for kids!

If you’re after some fun these summer holidays, make a date with Lyle. LYLE, LYLE, CROCODILE is exclusive to cinemas and is the perfect family comedy adventure to finish off the year. You buy the popcorn and we’ll supply the family fun day out!
