With up to five brand new trucks and drivers and even more super-charged moto-tainment providing a unique sensory experience like no other!
General public tickets for the world’s premiere of Monster Jam – Expect the Unexpected are on sale now, with fans able to witness jaw-dropping displays of punishing stunts across seven shows in five major cities.
With three out of four cities sold-out last year, Monster Jam is back and bigger than ever with the first Adelaide Oval show added to the 2016 tour.
Kicking off on October 1, full dates and show locations are as follows:
- 01 October – 7pm – QSAC, Brisbane
- 08 October – 2pm and 7pm – AAMI Park, Melbourne
- 15 October – 7pm – Adelaide Oval, Adelaide
- 22 October – 7pm – ANZ Stadium, Sydney
- 29 October – 2pm and 7:30pm – Domain Stadium, Perth
The show will feature four unique Monster Jam driver competitions – Monster Jam Wheelies, Racing, Donuts and the coveted Freestyle competitions, with the Freestyle Motocross and Quad Wars also set to return.
Each city will also host one Party in the Pits ahead of a show, where fans can get up close with their favourite Monster Jam trucks, before meeting the superstar drivers.
The 2016 lineup includes a number of fan favourites, with ‘Grave Digger’, ‘Monster Mutt Dalmatian’ and ‘Max-D’ back to tear up the track, alongside new additions ‘Alien Invasion’, ‘Pirates Curse’ and the yellow ‘El Toro Loco’.
Standing nearly four metres tall and four metres wide, Monster Jam trucks are custom-designed machines that weigh around 5,500kgs. Built for short, high powered bursts of speed, the powerful Monster Jam® beasts perform breathtaking stunts and can accelerate from 0-100kph in under 3 seconds.
They literally fly – covering up to 50m in a single leap (a distance greater than 14 cars side by side) and up to 12m skywards.

We are a Car-mad family, whether it be Car shows, Supercar racing and even Monster trucks, we will be there.
The excitement of what tricks each monster truck is going to do and whether they will make it or not makes it very exciting to watch. My 3.5yr old son absolutely loves it and that it is normally on on a Saturday night just before his bedtime.

Oh wow, the smell of the dirt and the exhaust pipes thrashing through the stadium! The deafening sounds of the trucks speeding past.. The screams of pure excitement of my children with their hands over their ears. I love to see my kids smile and I think this would have me grinning from ear to ear!

I’ve been racing cars since I was 12yo and come from a motorsport family. My husband, daughter and 2 step sons all race too and we all love the Monster Trucks. We love the showmanship of the drivers, the skill, the loud beefy sound and the pure entertainment factor!
As a huge car enthusiast I love the atmosphere at Monster Jam events. Seeing the look of amazement on people’s faces as the trucks perform their tricks, looks like so much fun!

I love the way our son is so passionate about monster trucks. He turns three in September and when he wakes up at 6:30 in the morning and climbs in to our bed the first thing he says is “monster trucks please”. Not wiggles or play school. Monster trucks. He sits on the couch with my husband watching it and knows the names. “That’s grave digger dad” or Titan. And when they jump or crash. “Ohh he broke his truck. That’s not very good is it”. My husband has recorded many episodes on our media player so our two boys can watch it whenever they wish. Lol. Which is often.

Being from a Motorsport Background, anything that has plenty of power and noise to go with it, is of safety standards construction, can win against all odds and has good colourful graphics gets top points in this house. Hotwheels catches our little ones’ attention most because can that brand excellent quality toy vehicles. The more dirt moved whilst competition is running the more fun the kids reckon it is.

We were lucky enough to go to the Monster Jam show in Brisbane last year with our little guy and we ALL loved it! It really is an event for the whole family. Those trucks are capable of truly amazing feats and the drivers push their trucks to the limit performing cyclonic doughnuts, awesome backflips and getting huge air off jumps, all for the entertainment of their adoring fans.
The whole family loves the action and excitement the monster trucks bring. Not to mention the noise and pure awesomeness of how big they are!

Our family went to the Sydney show last year and we were all surprised at just how much we really got into the competition between the trucks. It was a great night out where we all screamed for our favorite and loved seeing the massive trucks doing their stunts and jumps. Loved it and would recommend it to all families. Just take ear plugs as they are loud!!

It’s a pity you don’t have a prize pack with tickets to the Monster Trucks in Adelaide because I would have really loved to go. The Monster Trucks bring back fond memories of my hubby who unexpectedly got his angel wings the beginning of April…….we went to the Monster Trucks together not long after the Adelaide Entertainment Centre first opened way back in 1991.

My son is a hugeeee fan with every Monster Truck (big and small) clothing….posters..and we watch it every week on TV….and who wouldnt want to go see the offical Monster Trucks in real life…so much excitement in one day!!

My son has always loved Monster Jam and it’s usually a real bonding time with our family. I was devastated we couldn’t take our son last year and it’s looking most likely that we won’t be able to go this year but winning these tickets would be amazing
My two year old is obsessed with Monster Jam, he watches it and recreates the jumps with his own Monster Trucks. The first thing he does when he wakes up everyday is collect all his trucks ready to play.

My son has most of the monster Jam trucks!! We play for hours bashing and crashing over our home made jumps of dirt and furniture. We love watching them on a Saturday afternoon together. Waiting for them to come back on. 0 to 100 in 3secs the smell, noise, size and destruction!! And pure talent we are Monster Jams Biggest Fans!!
As my son absolutely loves them – has since he was 18 months old – nothing would be better for him than to see the monster trucks up close – can’t wait to go and see his face and reaction!
I have actually never been!! But I would love to see it and I know my partner and son would absolutely love the noise and the excitement of it all!

My son Nate has been obsessed with Monster Jam since before he was 1. He was hysterical one night and it came on the TV and he instantly stopped screaming. Since then, he lives and breathes it. He’s now 4 and has MJ pictures all over his room. So my favourite thing about MJ is that it makes him happy and most importantly, gives me some peace and quiet when he’s watching it!

Monster Jam is one thing all my kids are passionate about the excitement of the big trucks and all vehicles involved are fantastic they all put on a fabulous show entertaining everyone from start to finish this would be so fantastic as I would love to take my son for his 15th bday which is the 4th of October but I could make an exception getting a early present for such a wonderful expiriance

My son loves watching and playing monster trucks, we set up tracks in our hallway with blankets and pillows to create jumps. Monster trucks are hours of fun to play and thrilling to watch. It would make my sons day to see them live!
We saw them a few years ago at a speedway and they were phenomenal! I couldn’t believe how fun it was to see massive vehicles jumping over ramps.
Best thing is watching my sons drool over them and cheering whenever the trucks get some air off the ramps.

Our whole family loves everything about Monster Jam, we drove four hours last year to see the show in Brisbane and we loved the whole experience so much so that we have already booked our tickets and accommodation for this years show and this time we are going to the Pit Party!! We have twin boys who just turned four and they are completely obsessed with all the trucks and would most definitely be the biggest fans of Monster Jam. They had a Monster Jam themed birthday party this year and we made really cool cakes for them like ramps and put a truck on each of them. Our eight year old Daughter loves all the “Girl Drivers” and especially Madusa! It is an amazing atmosphere to be in the stadium with the trucks roaring around and the kids get so excited when the drivers do huge jumps and backflips. They would be over the moon to win a merchandise pack!!!
The thing i love about monster jam is how excited my 4 yr old gets when he watches them on tv. He then goes and gets his toy ones out and which ever is on the screen at the time is the ones he plays with and he copies there “moves”
He knows all the terms “sky wheelies, spin cycles, teeter tot”
Its something we can sit down and watch as a family. Even my 1 yr old daughter is getting in on it now too!

I love the adrenalin rush….the sound of the big beasts as they spin and leap and roar their way around the arena completing crazy feats….it’s absolute magic…I enjoy them….my son enjoys them….and now Id really love my grandson to get out there and see them for real too….he already has a love for them with his collection of scale model trucks (his fave is Gravedigger)…to go with him and watch his face light up as he sees them up front would be a total buzz for this old granddad

What do I love about Monster Jam? The drivers! The skills required to control such a MONSTER would not be an easy task! Racing, jumping, flipping, crashing, smashing all while using separate controls for the front and back wheels and handling 1500 of horsepower! It’s a sport that my son truly enjoys and when he grows up he’s going to be a “monster truck driver”. My son loves watching it on TV, playing with his toy trucks or wearing Grave Digger tshirts. So thanks to the drivers for putting on a unique show!

What do I love about Monster Jam? Although I’m still trying to learn the names of the trucks, my four year old son has told me about the pink truck called Medusa that is driven by a woman. Whenever Medusa comes on TV my son tells me, ‘Mummy, that’s your truck’. I’m pretty happy with that because from what I’ve seen, she’s pretty damn awesome! We’ve never seen them live though, that would be a wonderful experience!

My 4 yr old son is a massive massive fan! He has all the trucks, posters, bedding, everything! We are going to the Perth show but would love to fully kit him out in one of the merchandise packs up for grabs!
We love at the end of all rounds finals when grave digger comes back out the church bells ring and it makes the whole aRena cheer and it gets really loud and I love seeing my kids support and cheer
We spend time together as a family watching Monster Jam. The kids love the stunts and the races and cheering on their favourite trucks. Seeing them live would be an amazing experience.
My kids would absolutely go crazy if they got to see the monster jam they watch them all the time on tv and beg to go watch them live
My son only just discovered monster jam a few months ago and now he is obsessed. We get treated to unique rendition of ‘bad boys’ as he drives his bike to school pretending it’s grave digger. Quite entertaining.
What I love is seeing how happy my son is watching monster jam with his daddy. It’s a pure moment of love and happiness that you just can’t buy and it’s their special bonding time.

Monster Jam is my sons life. He is turning 10 this year, and since he was 11 months old he has been obsessed. He has over 400 trucks, and countless other Monster Jam items, clothes, Manchester, hats, etc. His ultimate dream is to become a Monater Jam driver, and with his passion for all things Monster Jam, I have no doubt it will happen. In 2015 he featured in the official program, and was given the actual trophy Scott Buetow won for freestyle in Hot Wheels. Monster Jam flows through his veins, and that will never change.
My whole family just love the atmosphere and excitement as the monster trucks attempt new groundbreaking crazy tricks and stunts, we just love it
Power of the trucks the sound they give the adrenaline rush each time they hit the throttle and go for it and the air they get awesome. My nephew and great nephew ( his son) absolutely can not get enough of watching the trucks on TV trucks on the road they would love it.
I LOVE Monster Jam because it’s the very limited time this busy mum of two little monsters gets the housework done while they are transfixed on the awesome monster stunts & battles!

My nine year old daughter loves watching Monster Jam on TV with her dad. She gets so excited seeing Grave Digger and Madusa. She dreams of seeing the World Championships at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, but seeing Monster Jam in action in Melbourne would be the next best thing.
I love monster jam because it is something we all love to watch & go to. Monster jam has a special place in our family we have been every year they have come to Australia & would love to continue that this year.
its the most fun and so exciting for kids, my sons would absolutely love to go this year. grave digger, suvadigger, zombie and monster mutt are their favourites, i personally like monster energy and hot wheels!!! i should add parents have a blast too!!!
The excitement and per-game activities, kids get really excited every time a new monster truck comes out and revs their engine.

Our children love the excitement of the Monster Trucks racing and doing big jumps and freestyle. Their faces light up and they get their Monster Trucks to emulate what they watched and do their own moves.
The look on my son’s face anytime he sees Monster Jam is just priceless, he is almost 4 and is fanatical ever since I bought him a set of trucks on his 3rd birthday. To see his face when he sees them for real will be so great! He has me take him to the hotwheels section of any store we are in to see if theres monster trucks he needs for his collection…he has about 40 so far!!!!

I’ve been going to take my son’s for the past 2 years but have never been able to afford it,my 5 year old is monster jam obsessed,he has the cars,clothes,toys and had a grave digger cake for his bday,every time he seems Monster jam on tv he gets so excited and says “mum I wanna go see it”!!

My little man (along with his dad!) absolutely LOVE Monster Jam! It’s all about the noise, the excitement, the atmosphere, the jumps and crashes, the fireworks/fire/sparklers, and of course the Monster Trucks themselves! The absolute BEST thing about Monster Jam and the trucks though, is the fact it’s something that son and daddy (and mother and daughter!) can bond with and enjoy together!
