Naturally sustainable

With so many baby products on our shelves, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed about which options to buy for your newborn. One of the most important things to consider is your little one’s safety, a reason most parents opt for baby products that are made from safe, non-toxic materials.

The good news is that eco-friendly and safe go hand in hand. Not only are NUK’s eco-friendly products made from recycled materials and contain natural ingredients, but they also contain zero nasty chemicals or preservatives.

NUK for Nature’s eco-friendly baby products, for example, are made from sustainable materials (mass balance process*) including sustainable plastic*, natural rubber and sustainable silicone*.

Choose to reuse or recycle

‘NUK for Nature’s packaging is even made from sustainable sources and can be fully recycled! Their eco-friendly baby bottles and teats are packaged in 100% cardboard boxes that can go straight into the recycling bin (easy!).

And their silicone soothers? They come in a clever box that can be used for storage and hygienic cleaning in the microwave. Just add water and sterilise for 4 minutes – how smart is that? And super handy too. Never lose a dummy again. And if it’s dropped? No dramas – just put it back in the box.

The features you know and love

While the NUK for Nature range is NEW, it contains the same great features you’ve come to know and love from NUK. This includes their innovative Temperature Control which ensures you are feeding baby at the right temperature every time.

The thermometer is printed within the graduation marks along the bottle and instantly changes if the milk is too hot. If the temperature is right (37°C), the indicator will be blue. If the temperature is too hot, the indicator will turn white. You can read more about NUK’s Temperature Control function right here.

The range also features the award-winning NUK teat shape which is modelled on a mother’s nipple, making it more natural and less confusing for breastfed babies.

Their baby bottle teats are proven to provide a better fit against the roof of the baby’s mouth too. Plus, the shape of the teat is also designed to leave your baby’s tongue and jaw enough room for natural sucking movements and encourage healthy jaw development.

The NUK for Nature Silicone Soothers comes with a unique NUK Orthodontic shape, which not only settles babies but also encourages healthy oral development.

Why choose eco-friendly baby products?

The easy answer? Because it’s the right thing to do. Not only is it our responsibility to ensure we doing what we can to reduce our carbon footprint, but it’s also important for us to protect our planet for future generations. By choosing eco-friendly, you are reducing plastic waste, choosing products that can be reused or recycled and reducing the number of chemicals you’re exposed to.

Eco-friendly baby products are also better for your baby without harmful chemicals, plastics or toxins. You don’t have to worry that you could be unintentionally harming your bub or exposing them to BPA or any other harmful chemicals. So feel good about making small steps towards a sustainable future for your child.
