My oh my, where has the time gone? We can’t believe four-year-old Princess Charlotte is starting her first day of school already!
But indeed she is, and we’ve got the adorable photos as our favourite cheeky Royal makes this big transition into big school!
With a perfectly pressed uniform, a neat ponytail and a wide smile, Princess Charlotte is ready to rock her first day! Sure, she may look a little nervous as she plays with her ponytail, but she’s got big bro, Prince George, and both mum and dad, Prince William and Kate Middleton, by her side. What a perfect little family!
Charlotte’s New School (and Name)Â
While six-year-old George is returning to school, this is the very first day of big school for Princess Charlotte. She will be attending the same school as her brother – Thomas’s Battersea – and will be known as Charlotte Cambridge. How cute is that??!
With 560 students aged from four to 13-years-old, the ethos at Charlotte’s new school, Thomas’s Battersea is “be kind”. Plus, with a whole host of study options including Ballet, French, Drama and Art, Charlotte is sure to flourish and find her feet in no time.
Smile for the Camera!
Like any other proud parents, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took a few photos of Prince George and Princess Charlotte at home in their school uniform before leaving for Thomas’s Battersea.
They even managed to snap a perfect sibling shot of the smiling pair, cuddling one another and not fighting. I didn’t even know these types of sibling shots existed!
Big School, Big Day NervesÂ
As the foursome headed off to big school, leaving the littlest royal, Prince Louis, at home – the cameras were ready to capture the action!
Sticking close to mum, Princess Charlotte greets the head of the lower school, Helen Haslem. The Kensington Palace Instagram account marked the occasion by posting a few gorgeous first-day-of-school photos, and a video of her meeting Mrs Haslem.
