Schweppes are recalling their Schweppes Lemon Lime & Bitters as it contains a Quinine contamination.

Consumers who have a quinine sensitivity should not consume this product and may have a reaction if the product is consumed.

Identifying features

• 300ml – Best Before 25 Mar 15 and 26 Mar 15

• 1.25L – Best Before 23 Oct 14

What are the defects?

Quinine contamination, therefore quinine is not declared on the label. Quinine is an ingredient used in tonic water.

What are the hazards?

Consumers who have a quinine sensitivity should not consume this product and may have a reaction if the product is consumed.
