We’re Looking for UGC Creators to Join Mum Central’s Paid Content Crew

We’re not going to sugarcoat it … good video content is hard to find. Not the kind where someone holds up a product awkwardly and smiles. We’re talking about real, scroll-stopping, comment-section-lighting, share-it-to-your-group-chat kind of content. The stuff that makes someone stop mid-feed and think, yep, that’s literally me.

That’s what we’re building here at Mum Central. And we want you to be part of it.

We’re officially calling for applications to join the Mum Central Content Creator Network – a hand-picked group of video creators who’ll work with us on campaigns, branded partnerships, and editorial content that genuinely resonates with Australian mums and families.

What Does This Actually Look Like?

Great question. This isn’t an influencer program where we send you a product and hope for the best. This is a proper working relationship – professional, collaborative, and built around content that performs.

As part of the network, you’ll receive briefs for specific campaigns and work with our team to bring them to life. Sometimes that means you create, edit, and deliver a polished final reel. Sometimes we’ll need raw footage that our team works with. It all depends on the project.

What stays consistent? The quality, the authenticity, and the Mum Central voice. Our audience can spot a forced ad from a mile away, so everything we put out needs to feel real, relatable, and genuinely useful.

Who Are We Looking For?

The short answer: confident creators who love being on camera and can bring a brief to life without hand-holding.

The longer answer:

  • You’re comfortable on camera. Not perfect … just real. You don’t need a studio setup, but you do need to hold an audience’s attention and deliver content that feels natural, not scripted to death.
  • You create content across at least one of our core categories. Think parenting, family life, food and recipes, home and lifestyle, health and wellness, kids’ activities, baby products, travel with kids, or mum life in general. If your content already lives in this space and lands well, you’re on the right track.
  • You’re a video-first creator. Reels are our priority. If your feed tells a story through video, if you understand pacing and hooks and why the first three seconds of a reel matter, you get it.
  • You can work to a brief. Creative freedom is great, but commercial content needs to hit specific marks. If you’ve worked with brands before (or are confident you can), that’s a big tick.
  • You’re aligned with our values. Mum Central has always been about real over perfect. Honest over-polished. Community over clout. If that resonates with how you create … welcome home.

What We’re Not Looking For

A follower count. Seriously. A micro-creator with 5,000 engaged, loyal followers who loses sleep over their content quality will always beat a creator with 100K who churns stuff out. We care about quality, authenticity, and fit, not numbers.

Kids and Camera Comfort

We’ll ask in your application whether you’re happy to have your kids featured in content and whether you’re comfortable with your full face on camera. There’s no right or wrong answer – we work with a mix of creators and not every project requires both. But it’s useful to know upfront so we can match you to the right briefs.

Applications Are Two Rounds

We keep our process simple. The first round is an application form: your details, your socials, your rate card, and links to your best reels so we can see what you actually do. If you’re a strong fit, we’ll be in touch for a second round conversation.

We review every application personally. No auto-rejections, no bots … actual humans who care about this stuff.

Ready? Let’s Go.

If you’ve read this far and your gut is saying this is me – don’t overthink it. Apply now and show us what you’ve got.
