New South Wales families welcoming a new baby have even more reason to celebrate. Not only do they get to bring home an adorable bundle of joy, but they can also commemorate the exciting birth with an Aussie icon – Bluey!

That’s right NSW folks, Bluey-themed birth certificates are now available through the New South Wales Birth, Deaths and Marriages Registry. Wackadoo!

With the addition of the Bluey-themed birth certificates in NSW, this means that babies born in either New South Wales or Queensland can secure a Bluey birth certificate.

This is because Queensland also has a collection of Bluey certificates, which have been available since 2020. If you had no idea, then join the club! We just discovered them today too!

NSW Bluey birth certificates

The NSW Bluey collection features three different Bluey-themed birth certificates, all with Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Chili and that classic Bluey vibe. Each is featured in the new certificates, depicting a family road trip south to New South Wales, the family outside their classic Queenslander home and building sandcastles during a day at the beach.

The perfect addition to any Bluey bedroom

While commemorative birth certificates can’t be used as an official document, they are a great keepsake and also add something cute to the nursery. If you are doing a BLuey-themed bedroom or nursery, then you could always frame the Bluey birth certificate and use it as wall art.
