ALLERGY ALERT: ‘Dairy Free’ Nudie Juice Recalled Because it Contains Cow’s Milk

A popular breakfast drink that’s labelled ‘dairy free’ is being recalled because it contains cow’s milk.

The Nudie Brekkie drink is labeled dairy free, but an urgent recall notice reveals it contains an unexpected and “undeclared allergen” – cow’s milk.

“Consumers who have a cow’s milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,” the Product Safety Australia recall notice says.

“Customers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.”

The 250ml purple pack of juice is sold at Coles and Woorlworhs supermarkets nationally. The recall applies to packs of the real berries, real coconut milk and real oats drink with a best before date of 24 March, 2018.

For more information, contact Nudie manufacturer Monde Nissin or call 1800 466 834.
