Put a Dancing Fish Toy on your Baby Shower Registry, Folks. Here’s Why

Pregnant ladies, get ready to high tail it to your nearest Kmart, because this $12 cat toy is about to change the lives of every single new parent out there.

It’s a Cat Toy Dancing Fish, designed to entertain your feline fur baby. It flops and wiggles and slaps its tail in a good ol’ fashion fish matter. Cats would love it. But babies, welp, they love it more!

Just ask TikTok user @enjoy_266 who recently uploaded a video of a newborn fast asleep, enjoying a delightful snooze with the pet fish gently patting his butt.

Or slapping his butt. Meh. Pat. Slap. Same same. If it means you don’t have to sit there gently patting your baby for 43 minutes, then let them call it whatever they’d like!

‘Slapped to sleep’

Check out the TikTok video of the magic dancing fish in action:

@enjoy_266He had to be slapped to sleep. Is that true of your children? ##fy ##foryou ##children♬ Jump in the Line (Shake, Senora) – Harry Belafonte

Okay, so it’s not the most appropriate way to put your child to sleep, but, hey, if the shoe fits. Or, in this case, if the fish slaps.

We also want to point out that the parents are monitoring their baby while asleep on his tummy. We know this isn’t the recommended way for babies to sleep, but, again, let’s just focus on the wins here. And that is a newborn baby, fast asleep while being slapped by a dancing fish. A sentence I never thought I would write. But here we are.

So where can you buy your very own Pet Toy Dancing Fish that will pat your child to sleep for you? Kmart sells them for $12 but you can also pick them up through eBay and Amazon.
