For months the world has been on bump watch, ever-so-impatiently waiting for a sign that there’s another Prince or Princess on the way.
Well, royal watchers, it’s finally happened.
We’ve received the happy news that yes, Meghan Markle is preggers. Kensington Palace has confirmed it with a beautiful Instagran announcement that gives us all the feels.
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle royal baby joy!
The baby news comes on the first day of the couple’s Australian tour and just five months after Meghan, 37 and Prince Harry, 34, tied the knot in May 2018. And after months and months of people speculating that the pair would be announcing a pregnancy any day now. Now Meghan can now step out in public without people speculating about whether she’s up the duff or just ate a hamburger.
Not a royal food baby, people. A royal real baby.
This is the first child for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (yes, that’s their official name); however, the couple have a black dog named Oz as well as a beagle called Guy, which Meghan brought to England with her from Canada.
Royal baby due date
Although we’re not sure on the exact due date just yet, we’ve used our ultra-stealth pregnancy calculator forces to predict Baby Sussex is due in March 2019. We’re sure that the royal baby name bets will start soon. I’m gonna get my baby name bet in early and back Amelia for a girl and James for a boy.
Bub will be seventh in line for the throne behind grandpa Prince Charles, uncle Prince William, cousins Prince George, Prince Charlotte and Prince Louis and daddy, Prince Harry. Naw… daddy Prince Harry. Our rowdy red-haired royal has officially grown up!
