General guidelines

  • The number of cases is still climbing at an alarming rate which means we need to take action to flatten the curve.
  • Many Australians are still returning home from high-risk countries. Quarantining is absolutely critical. No if, ands, or buts. If you’re coming into Australia, YOU DON’T LEAVE YOUR HOUSE.
  • Maintain a healthy distance from others.
  • Practice good hygiene.
  • If you’re unwell, stay home. Even a sniffle means you shouldn’t be going out.
  • All non-essential gatherings must be under 100 people must ensure there is 2.5 meters per person. So, a 1000m2 room would hold 25 people only.
  • Additional social distancing measures are expected to start hitting shortly. People need to be clear about distancing yourself from every other fellow Australian wherever possible.
