Ding the royal baby bells! Another royal bub has joined the ranks as Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank welcome their second child together, a little boy named Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank.
Little Ernest (which I REALLY hope they nickname Ernie), was born on 30th May 2023 weighing 7.1lbs (3.22kg). He joins his big brother, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, born in 2021.
Princess Eugenie shared the news on her Instagram page, explaining that her second son is named after “his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald.”
She also shared a picture of little Augie with Ernest, stating that, “Augie is loving being a big brother already.” We can imagine the two of them will become the best of mates. August turned two in February so there are less than 2 ½ years between the boys.
The royal grandkid roundup
Eugenie, 32, is the daughter of the Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, and is the late Queen’s granddaughter. She and Jack got married in October 2018.
Ernest is the Queen’s 13th great-grandchild, or 14th if you include Beatrice’s stepson, Wolfie.
