There’s nothing quite like a birth, particularly that of a ROYAL BABY, to excite and delight even the most die-hard Debbie Downers (you know, those people that just never crack a smile).
The news that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed a baby boy into the world had a whole host of well-wishes posting their congrats.
We were stoked to hear the news of the royal birth and of course, we weren’t the only ones. Let’s take stock and see how the rest of the world reacted to the beautiful news…

What better place to start than with the father of the royal baby…Prince Harry was absolutely beaming when he announced that the Duchess of Sussex had given birth to a healthy baby boy.
“It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined,”
“How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension… I’m so incredibly proud of my wife.”
“This little baby is absolutely to die for,” he said. “I’m just over the moon.”
Royal baby welcomed with an outpouring of congratulatory messages
Celebrity tweets and posts have flooded in from all across the globe…
Meghan Markle’s Suits co-star Sarah Rafferty shared her delight via Twitter. She tweeted:
While Ellen Degeneres compared her place in the line to have her key cut to the royal baby’s line-up for the throne.
Michelle Obama, speaking on behalf of Barack and herself, said she was thrilled and looking forward to meeting the royal baby. Oh, aren’t we all Michelle!
Fellow American Ryan Seacrest was quick to pass on his “congrats”.
Although he was pipped at the post (good job he’s not in the race for the royal throne!) by British Prime Minister Theresa May.
Meanwhile, over on Instagram, Meghan_harry_news, a US-based fan page for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, posted a beautiful illustration accompanied by ABC News Tweet, which said:
Royal watchers are looking at how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby boy’s two grandmothers – Princess Diana and Doria Ragland – will play a role in the child’s life as they come of age.”
Of course, now we wait with bated breath to get a glimpse of the royal baby. Meanwhile, some onlookers are so eager to see the royal baby that they’re creating their own images of what the newborn might look like.

But what are the other royals saying about baby Sussex
According to @CNN Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge say they are “absolutely thrilled” about the news of the royal baby.
And we just LOVE that The Royal Family summoned its Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland to play “Congratulations” during the Changing of the Guard at Windsor Castle the morning after the birth—and posted the event on Twitter. Very cute!
