What’s Black Friday anyway?

Contrary to popular belief, Black Friday isn’t Friday the 13th. OK, it is, but that’s not what everyone is talking about. Black Friday is the online cyber sale that started in the United States with brands discounting products before Thanksgiving. Savvy shoppers pick up serious bargains. This year, Black Friday starts on 29 November and ends 2 December (or until stock lasts). There isn’t much time to get ahold of these deals. So what are we waiting for? Get your wish list ready now in anticipation for the big event.

Toys for ALL

We’re also pretty excited for the Kmart inflatable 9-foot stand-up paddleboard. These things generally set you back around $500 to $3000. But, of course, not at Kmart And especially not during Black Friday sales. You can score it for $249. Hello Christmas pressie for myself!

Kmart also has a pretty wicked-looking E-VOLT electric bike for $449. That’s about as cheap as you’ll ever find an electric bike! Heck, my bike costs double that and I have to PUSH the damned thing.

Big W is also exciting the crowds with their Black Friday Australia 2019 sales, especially their Dyson vacuums.

Dyson super sale

If you are in the market for a new vacuum then this deal is definitely worth a look. Big W is slashing $250 off the popular Dyson V7 Origin, selling it for $349. This is one of Dyson’s superstar vacuums and it will be hard to beat this price.

Gaming and Google Nest

Big W also has a PlayStation 4 (500GB Slim Console Fortnite Bundle) for just $249, which is incredibly cheap. If you, like me, have a gamer at home begging for a PlayStation 4 – even though he already has a PlayStation 3 AND an XBox – this is worth looking into.

We’re also told there will be a buy-one-get-one-free offer on the Google Nest Hub which is another great gift for us mums. Ahem,  I mean, the family.
