Mark the calendar and set the alarm Mum, iconic Australian fashion designer Collette Dinnigan is back at ALDI!
Be sure to circle Wednesday 19 October because this gorgeous new range is going to be on every shopping list around and is sure to be snapped up quicker than you can say ‘Every piece is under $35!’
The second Young Heart’s collection is sure to set fashion-loving Mums into a giddy spin with it’s fresh nautical motifs, crisp colours and for the first time clothing for little boys.
Including swimwear, pyjamas, shoes and towelling as well as casual and special occasion wear the pieces are ideal for the Australian summer. Dinnigan’s signature detailing is evident throughout with lace and broderie trims, contrast cuffs and whimsical feminine prints.
Dinnigan’s incorporation of boys wear for the first time was inspired by Hunter, her own three year old son. “My second collaboration with ALDI is a special one, as I have expanded on the success of our past girlswear range and added a young boys collection. This is especially fitting as I have a three-year old son who helped inspire my designs…
It’s been incredibly rewarding to create a quality-made, second collection for ALDI, this time for both young boys and girls that carries my design aesthetic. The all new boys range includes woven sets, knit sets and jackets for daytime dressing; rash vests, cover ups and board shorts; as well as two-piece sets and pyjamas.”
Sizing ranges from babies to 8 years old for boys and babies to 14 years old for girls. Fabrics are focussed on summer friendly cotton, linen shirting, soft knits and quality-made swimwear including sun-safe rash vests.
One thing Mum Central has noted in Dinnigan’s comments is that this is her ‘second and final collection’ for ALDI. We don’t want to cause a national stampede but if this is our last opportunity to buy the Young Hearts by Collette Dinnigan range we’ll be buying big, big, big!
