Most humans are biologically wired to have a very specific response to an infant. Namely the ‘Nawwwwwwwwww’ reaction.
This response becomes especially strong during the baby making/birthing/rearing years when ‘Nawwwwwwww’ is often paired with the strong sensation of what experts* refer to as ‘aching ovary syndrome’ (*that expert being this writer).
This is where we have the physical desire to make a baby ourselves as soon as possible, forgetting all manner of issues, including the biological need for a relatively willing partner.
