Hold on to your handbags ladies, this news is HUGE.
Fresh from reeling in pure delight that my local Target was going to morph into a Kmart, I’m now ecstatic at the expanding retail opportunities in my future.
TX Maxx is setting up shop in Adelaide!
South Australia is FINALLY catching up with its neighbouring states Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, bringing retail juggernaut TK Maxx to Adelaide. HOORAY, let’s hear it for the shoppers!
Big brands, small prices
For those of us who haven’t ever experienced a visit to a TK Maxx store, you’re in for a real treat. It’s all the lingerie, fashion, travel, homewares, accessories, footwear and more that you can handle. But be warned, unlike other department stores, the stock is unpredictable and no two stores are ever the same. So don’t risk FOMO – if you see it and you’re undecided about purchasing – BUY IT, because once it’s gone, it’s often gone for good!
The store’s website reads
“At TK Maxx, we deliver great value on ever-changing selections of brand name, designer, and other high-quality fashion apparel and homewares for a whole lot less than a department store or on the high street.
We take advantage of a wide variety of opportunities, which can include department store cancellations, a brand owner making up too much product, or a great deal when a vendor simply wants to clear merchandise, as well as lots of other ways to bring you tremendous value.
The majority of products we sell are brand name merchandise, for a whole lot less than department or high street stores. Most of our merchandise is fashionable, current season styles. A small percentage is past season, or timeless classics, which we also offer at amazing savings to you.”
Sounds brilliant doesn’t it? ‘Timeless classics’ and ‘amazing savings’ – have sweeter words ever been spoken?
Something for everyone at TK Maxx
And though we all love to put our most stylish foot forward, TK Maxx isn’t all about the clothing. There’s amazing homewares, stationery and manchester on offer too. Parents-to-be and those with littlies can scoop up some great savings on baby gear (rockers, mobiles, play mats and feeding gear) for next to nix!
When can we shop for all the things?
It’s not yet known exactly when we South Aussies can expect the doors of this shiny and new TK Maxx store to open, but rest assured, as soon as we know we’ll let you know when to have your trolley poised and ready for action!
