There’s a whole lot of Royal madness going on at the moment with the Jubilee, the quick return of Meghan and Harry to the UK, and, of course, Prince Louis winning the internet with his cheeky four-year-old antics.
To top it off, Meghan and Harry have released two adorable photos of their daughter, Lilibet, on her first birthday. While there is a lot of controversy surrounding Meghan and Harry, there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that their little girl is as sweet as pie!
Lilibet’s first birthday celebration
In the first pic, Lili is wearing a little blue romper paired with a smile, a white bow and a head full of beautiful red hair, just like her brother, Archie! We can see both Megan and Harry in her looks too. What about you?
The photo was taken during a “casual, intimate backyard picnic” to celebrate the tot’s special day on Saturday.
Close family friend and guest Misan Harriman took the “candid, spontaneous photograph that the Duke and Duchess are pleased to share today,” a spokesperson added.
Misan Harriman shared the photo on his own Instagram account, writing,
It was such a privilege to celebrate the 1st birthday of Lilibet with my family and hers! Joy and face painting all around.”
In a second pic, Meghan holds Lilibet in her arms with the photographer, Misan’s wife and their two children.
A family gathering
According to sources, Lili’s first party was held on Saturday at the Sussexes’ Frogmore Cottage home in London. It is understood that Zara and Mike Tindall’s three children Mia, Lena, and Lucas all attended the backyard bash as well as Peter Phillips’ and Autumn Kelly’s daughters Savannah and Isla.
But the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with their children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – did not attend as they were in Wales as part of Jubilee celebrations. And didn’t Prince Louis put on a show!!?
Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor has been rarely-seen since she was born on June 4 last year so it’s lovely to see the little darling transform into a cheeky toddler.
According to sources, Harry and Meghan took Lilibet to Windsor Castle to meet the Queen, who she is named after, on Friday or Saturday.
Harry and Meghan attended only a handful of events while they were here and opted to leave their children out of the spotlight. They have since returned to America.

Lilibet looks just like Harry when he was the same age, I can not see Meghan at all in her.
