Polish Woman Who Believes She's Madeleine McCann Receives DNA Results

The DNA results are in. This week Julia Faustyna, also known as Julia Wendell has been told that she is not missing girl Madeleine McCann.

The DNA results confirm that Julia is “absolutely 100% from Poland” which rules out any chance she is Madeleine. It also rules out any chance that Julia was kidnapped at a young age and is possibly another missing child.

Madeleine went missing from Portugal in 2007 and her disappearance has captured the world’s attention ever since. There have been a few different women claiming they could be the missing girl but Julia’s ‘evidence’ was quite convincing.

It appeared the 21-year-old from Poland truly believed she could be Madeleine McCann due to similar facial features to the missing girl and to Madeleine’s parents. Julia also has vivid memories that could indicate she was kidnapped and abused.

People across the globe have become hooked on Julia’s claim. Since she started her now-deleted Instagram account, Julia’s teamed up with Dr Fia Johansson, who claims to be a physic, medium, and private investigator. Julia and Dr Fia appeared on Dr Phil last month to discuss her story.

Dr Phil’s website reads:

“Wendell’s parents in Poland insist she is their biological child and deny she was kidnapped. McCann, who would be 19 years old now, was abducted in 2007 while on vacation with her family in Portugal and is presumed dead. Has McCann finally been found? Or, is this a cruel hoax?”

‘We finally know her reality’

Dr Fia Johansson shared the DNA update on her Instagram account, writing:

“Although it’s impossible to tell for sure without the parent’s DNA results on either side, the test results speak to the origins of Julia’s root. The test results revealed that she is a 100% of Polish heart, with negligible influence from Lithuania, and Russia. The DNA test results did not show any connection to British or even German roots.”
“This story is much more complicated than a simple girl from a small town in Poland making a claim to get attention. She truly believed what she was saying, and with so many questions about her childhood it is easy to understand where she was coming [from].”

DNA results confirm Julia isn’t Madeleine

In another interview, Dr Fia also explained that Julia’s mum is confirmed to be her birth mother.

“We learned a few things, one being that Julia’s mum is in fact now believed to be her mum, so she is not Madeleine McCann They’re not 100 percent but they believe that Julia’s mum is in fact her mum.
They’re questioning her father’s side. They’re checking into that, that’s part of what they’re doing with the DNA.”

Concerning memories

Julia has been very open about her troubled past and worrying childhood. She shared that she has post-traumatic stress amnesia due to childhood abuse. She has been in a psychiatric ward in the past and admits her childhood memories are missing, blurry or very confusing to understand.

She has recalled memories of being abused by her grandmother’s second husband. She also shared a memory of being forced to swallow 35 prescription pills when she was seven, causing her to end up in a near coma.

She also recalled a time she was paragliding with a man wearing only a t-shirt and underwear and of a man buying her a blue belly-dancing outfit from a market.

Dr Fia also spoke earlier about the possibility that Julia was part of a sex trafficking scheme.

We have a lot of evidence right now that shows Julia was definitely trafficked to Poland from another country by an international sex trafficking group.

She didn’t address these claims, but the DNA results seem to have ruled this statement out.

Julia’s family speaks out

Julia’s family has remained silent for the most part but did release a statement prior to receiving the DNA results:

“It is obvious to us as a family that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and stepdaughter,” they said in a statement earlier.
“We have memories, we have photos. We always tried to help her get back on her feet. Julia has been of age for several years. She has moved out of the house, (she) refuses treatment, doesn’t take medicines regularly.”

Dr Fia also confirmed that now that Julia has the answers she was looking for, she will return to live with her dad.
