Celebrity baby alert! Aussie supermodel, Miranda Kerr and her Snapchat CEO husband, Evan Speigel have just confirmed that they are expecting their first baby together.
A spokesperson for Kerr, 34 and Speigel, 27, announced Miranda’s pregnancy in a statement to media overnight. There’s no word yet on when the baby is due.
“Miranda, Evan and Flynn are looking forward to welcoming the newest member of their family,” it said.
The couple’s new arrival will be Kerr’s second child. She already has a six-year-old son, Flynn, with her ex, actor Orlando Bloom. Her billionaire husband has no other children.
Kerr and Speigel tied the knot six months ago in a ‘backyard’ ceremony at their LA mansion, with Flynn acting as ring-bearer.
When asked if they were going to have a baby earlier in the year, she said: “I’m not planning for a child yet. Not until after we get married. My partner is very traditional. We’re just waiting.”
The model mum, originally from Gunnedah, NSW, has previously described motherhood as the best thing to ever happen to her.
“Being a mother is just a huge honour. My favourite part of the day is picking Flynn up from school. Seeing his little face light up when he sees me! It is joy and love in the purest form. It’s just magical seeing him grow and develop his own personality.” she told The Sun newspaper.
