Rivers Australia are recalling Doghouse Boys Jeans and Mens Jeans after it was found that the dye stuff used during the manufacture of these products may have contained hazardous azo-colourants.
Expert authorities classify these azo-colourants as carcinogens and recommend that exposure be minimised. While this dye is not banned for textiles use in Australia Myer is recalling these two styles of jeans.
