Materials
- Sunny Queen Organic Egg cartons
- Scissors
- Tape
- Glue
- Black marker
- Pink and white coloured paper or card, or colour your own
Method
STEP 1. Cut the ends off the carton base.
STEP 2. Cut these in half so you have two identical cups.
STEP 3. Cut the longer sections so they are level with the rest of the cup.
STEP 4. Place one on top of the other, aligning the gaps. Place some tape in the section between the gaps, both inside and outside.
STEP 5. Cut the shapes for the outer ears (x2); inner ears (x2); feet (x2); and teeth (x1). Allow enough length on the shapes for gluing or fold an edge/flap. Cut an extra strip of paper.
STEP 6. Glue ears, feet and teeth in place. Draw on the eyes, nose (or use pom poms) and whiskers. Line the inside with a strip of paper to close any gaps then fill with mini Easter eggs!
There you have it, your very own Beggy Bunny to show off! The colour of your egg carton determines the colour of your bunny, so if you (or the kids) want to get fancy with this spectacular kids’ Easter craft idea, go to town painting or decorating the egg carton before transforming it. Your bunny will certainly be unique!
