It’s Emma Memma! Emma Watkins Unveils New Character

When Emma Watkins announced she would be leaving the Wiggles, 10 months ago, a million toddlers’ hearts broke. And a million parents were left wondering how they would fill the void that Emma brought to their daily lives.

I mean, how are we meant to get lunch ready AND vacuum the house if we don’t have Emma entertaining the kidlets on the screen??

While the Wiggles continue to dominate the charts – and are especially popular with the older crowd now – we’ve all missed Emma and the sunny vibe she brings.

Orange is the new yellow

Well, miss no more because Emma is back! She’s sporting a new signature colour but it’s still her and we have a feeling our little ones are going to love her even more.

No longer Emma Wiggle, she’s now Emma Memma. With her love of dance, sign language and music, she’s empowering the next gen through movement, creativity, and inclusiveness.

Emma just released her first song on her new YouTube channel and it’s already quite the hit with the littlies. It’s catchy and easy to learn and best of all, includes Auslan symbols throughout. Her first song also features her new mate, Elvin Melvin.

Emma Memma is really loving the orange and pinks, or shall we call it aggressive salmon. She also sports two orange and pink butterflies in her hair, so it’s probably a good idea to start stocking up on orange and pink fabric now. We predict a lot of requests to be Emma Memma in the not-too-distant future.

Emma’s planning on releasing a new video every week via YouTube and is launching a competition to win an intimate meet and greet around the country throughout August and September. Win tickets by subscribing to the Emma Memma newsletter.

We’d love to know if your little one has discovered Emma Memma yet.
