Time to check the pantry ladies! A popular brand of Leggo’s sauce has been recalled due to fears it may cause illness. The product in question – Leggo’s Tuna Bake with Spinach & Garlic, 500grams.

  • Has a best before date of 1/05/22
  • Batch code – 12164 (you can find this code on the lid)
  • Sold at Coles, Woolworths, IGA and independent supermarkets in Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia, Tasmania and online

What’s the issue?

The problem comes down to the incorrect pH level in the sauce which has a potential for microbial growth. This can cause consumers to fall ill.

What should consumers do?
