The Easter Tree Trend and Stylish Easter Decorations

It’s been a few months since we packed away the tinsel and shoved the Christmas tree into a box, not to be seen or heard from again for 11 months. But here’s the thing – we kind of miss it. Now it’s time to grab the Easter Tree trend and check out these gorgeous Easter decorations.

Sure, Christmas trees are big and bulky and leave annoying pine needles everywhere, but, they are also colourful and festive and add a bit of sparkle to the everyday.

And who doesn’t want a bit of sparkle in their world? Easter-themed sparkle? Even better!

So, ladies and gents, we give you the most eggciting Easter decor trend in the history of ever.

Easter trees!

Bright, bold and bunnified, Easter trees are the Easter trend you didn’t know you needed. But trust us, you do.

Now we’d like to pretend we invented the Easter tree but we certainly did not.

There are loads of ultra-talented people on Instagram that have this decorative trend down to an eggtreme art form. So if you’re looking for Easter tree inspiration, you’ve come to the right place.

Hop into the Easter tree trend

There’s a lot to love about an Easter tree. First off, it gives us an excuse to dig out the Christmas tree and put it to good use for more than one month a year.

Plus, it makes for a fun school holiday activity for the kids. The next time they complain about being bored, tell them to dig out the Christmas tree and make it pretty.

It also gives us an excuse to hit up your local Spotlight and Kmart and deck the halls with Easter-themed goodies. You know, baskets and oversized eggs that you really want but know you shouldn’t buy.

Well now you SHOULD buy them all because you’re decorating a tree dammit, and it needs to look pretty!

Pastel baubles, decorative bunnies, baskets galore, styrofoam carrots, plastic eggs placed in the tree with care. And let’s not forget oversized flowers, butterflies and even an Easter-themed nutcracker or two.

Nuts need cracking year-round, folks!

Balloon garlands, chicken pillows, bunny paw prints and don’t even think about forgetting to buy a big white duck.

And, apparently, the Easter decor prize of the year goes to this oversized blue and pink egg which appears to be under every Easter tree on Insta.

Bunnies, baskets, baby chicks! Oh my!

There’s a whole slew of different Easter themes you can borrow too. The country-style farm Easter tree below is beautiful but so is a good ol’ fashion egg tree complete with a bunny tree topper.

Of course, you don’t have to stick to a Christmas tree. Easter trees are a thing you can buy as well. You can get them pre-decorated with eggs and lights or decorate them yourself.
