Now we’d like to pretend we invented the Easter tree but we certainly did not.
There are loads of ultra-talented people on Instagram that have this decorative trend down to an eggtreme art form. So if you’re looking for Easter tree inspiration, you’ve come to the right place.
Hop into the Easter tree trendÂ
There’s a lot to love about an Easter tree. First off, it gives us an excuse to dig out the Christmas tree and put it to good use for more than one month a year.
Plus, it makes for a fun school holiday activity for the kids. The next time they complain about being bored, tell them to dig out the Christmas tree and make it pretty.
It also gives us an excuse to hit up your local Spotlight and Kmart and deck the halls with Easter-themed goodies. You know, baskets and oversized eggs that you really want but know you shouldn’t buy.
Well now you SHOULD buy them all because you’re decorating a tree dammit, and it needs to look pretty!
Pastel baubles, decorative bunnies, baskets galore, styrofoam carrots, plastic eggs placed in the tree with care. And let’s not forget oversized flowers, butterflies and even an Easter-themed nutcracker or two.
Nuts need cracking year-round, folks!
Balloon garlands, chicken pillows, bunny paw prints and don’t even think about forgetting to buy a big white duck.
And, apparently, the Easter decor prize of the year goes to this oversized blue and pink egg which appears to be under every Easter tree on Insta.
